La’s Thai Cuisine: a delicious explosion of spices and heat
La’s Thai Cuisine infuses their dishes with a delicious explosion of spices and heat! Authentic Thai cuisine can be a challenge to find in Scottsdale, but La’s Thai gets it right.
All day long you can get one of their many appetizers, salads and soups. Appetizers include egg rolls, fried wontons, fried shrimp and stuffed chicken wings. La's has eight varieties of salads, including seafood, shrimp, silver noodle, papaya, larb, grilled beef and calamari. Soup selections include mixed vegetable, wonton, coconut, hot and sour and rice noodle — served mild or spicy.
Try the Spicy Basil Chicken: a savory dish with green beans, onions, bell peppers and basil in a spicy chili sauce. Or how about the traditional Pad Thai, a sweet and spicy dish of rice noodles stir-fried with shrimp, chicken, egg, green onion, bean sprouts and peanuts? Another fantastic lunch option is the Thai fried rice served with meat, egg and onion along with tomatoes and cucumber.
Looking for a curry Thai dish? Try the red curry with the meat of your choice sautéed in a red curry sauce with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, green beans, zucchini, carrots, bell pepper and basil. They also serve green, yellow, sweet nut, and peanut curry, made the same way. You can get all of these curry dishes with or without rice noodles.
La's lunch specials are served from 11 a.m. through 3 p.m. and range from $6.95 to $7.95. All lunch specials are served with salad and a spring roll.
At dinner time, La’s Thai Cuisine served a large variety of entrees. Dinner entrees range from $7.95 to $12.95. All entrees can be ordered with your choice of meat: chicken, beef, pork, tofu, shrimp, calamari, salmon, white sole, scallops or just vegetables.
Some of the dinner options include Cashew Nut, served with cashew nuts, water chestnuts, onion, celery and bell pepper in a garlic sauce. Also, try the Kung Pao, which is made with cabbage, zucchini, carrot, onion, bell pepper and peanuts.
Complete your meal with an authentic Thai iced tea or Thai iced coffee drink. Traditional tea drinks boast a bit of a kick. Or try one of their many desert options, including coconut ice cream, fried banana with honey and ice cream, sticky rice with mango or the Thai custard.
