Litchfield Park may not be at the top of many foodie travels, but we have opened a new restaurant in the heart of one of Arizona's most popular tourist destinations. Welcome to Dining Arizona, which offers a look at some of the best local food and beverages in Arizona and beyond. We put local food on the menu and have it open for business in a few different locations across the state.
Ice Cream is an ice cream parlour that produces its desserts using a special rolling process. Litchfield Park's Best Restaurants recommends that Fabio's Fire is not technically in Litchesfield Park, but is worth a short drive north. This charming Italian restaurant and bakery houses some of the best wood-fired pizzas in Arizona and one of Arizona's most popular pizza bakeries. The family-owned and operated restaurant bears the same name as the original restaurant, but it is much more than that.
Breakfast menus include a full menu dedicated to toast, from breakfast sandwiches to breakfast burritos to breakfast pancakes. This West Valley restaurant offers a wide selection of breakfast items, including stuffed French toast with eggs, pancakes and oatmeal, as well as a variety of sandwiches.
If you're looking for a cheap and friendly option, Thai Orchid Garden offers several lunch specials under $10. Other lunch breaks are own pasta starters (see tortellini with pesto and rose sauce) and salads. Litchfield, located in the historic Wigwam Resort & Spa, offers special lunches, dinners and brunches. Breakfast includes a pastry wrapper, as well as breakfast burritos, pancakes, oatmeal and omelets.
If you want to be more casual, Wigwam is also home to the popular Red's Bar and Grill. Red would certainly be a fine bar or grill to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the rolling green. They offer a wide range of breakfast and lunch options, as well as brunch specials under $10.
The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from chicken meat to chicken wings and burgers to burgers and hot dogs. They are also a great place for fried steaks, burgers, chicken and pork chops and even a chicken sandwich.
As an appetizer, try their crispy fried wontons, which are delicious and make a nice start to your meal. Try their lightly fried corn tortillas, served with fried egg and a side of chips and salsa. For the particularly hungry and curious, there was Carne Pollo Asada, a huge flour tortilla filled with carnes, pollos and asada, fried and served Christmas.
Arizona Pizza Company is the place where you can find other lunch specials, including a $5 pizza with a side of fries and salsa or $7 with an appetizer. Do not miss the bakery behind the counter, which offers a nice selection of Italian cookies and desserts.
Try the Hawaii burger, which is made with teriyaki sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and veganaise and served with a side of crispy chips. The sweet-and-sour Divine Entrée, which consists of chicken, pork, beef, prawns and vegetables fried in the company's sweet and sour sauce, is also a winner. A variety of salads, sandwiches, salads and side dishes, as well as a selection of sandwiches are available. During the day, the restaurant has been busy with options that cost less than $10, such as pizza for $5, salad for $6, and salad for $7 with starter.
